AT FIRST SIGHT-P90 pickup versus Humbucker pickups and Single coil Pickups

1-I never tried before any P90 equipped guitar. Just common types-humbucker and single coil only.

2-I might dislike P90 due to the look of it. Boring and lame(sorry). If we are going to talk about commercialism here, most guitars come with humbucker or single coil configuration. Whether its HH,SSS,HSH,HS or whatever.

3-Tho basically P90 is also a single coil. As far as I remember those players that prefer P90 or other P9+ were not too many,WHY? David Gilmour with his GT LP, Gary Moore with his BFG LP and......?

4-Maybe because the generation of guitar players today prefer something like their own hero-humbucker or single coil pickups. I did not said that P90 is not good or any negative connotation here. Maybe one day I will give a try.
